On September 20,2024, President of the African Development Bank Akinwumi Adesina and his delegation visited Angola and inspected the Angola Science and Technology Development Project(Phase I)constructed by the group's construction sector. The project is funded by the African Development Bank and the owner is the Angolan Ministry of Higher Education.
During the inspection,President Adesina said that the construction of the project not only greatly improved the level of scientific and technological infrastructure in Angola,but also cultivated a large number of scientific and technological talents. Heemphasized,"Science and technology are the backbone of Angola's development. Only by consolidating the foundation of infrastructure construction can we shore up the country's scientific and technological backbone and provide strong support for economic and social development."
After detailed understanding of the changes before and after the construction of the project, President Adesina expressed satisfaction with the construction progress of the project and believed that the completion of the project would lay a solid foundation for the development of science and technology innovation in Angola and even Africa, and the project would be one of the most worthwhile investment projects of the African Development Bank in Africa.
Since the project started in March 2023, it has attracted much attention from all walks of life in Angola. The inspection by President Adesina showed that the African Development Bank attached great importance to the construction of the project. While affirming the effectiveness of theconstruction of the project, it also expressed satisfaction and recognition to the construction capacity of our group.
On the morning of January 3, 2025, Albano Vicente Lopes Ferreira, the new Minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation of Angola, inspected the Science and Technology Project (Phase I) .
On April 10th, Angolan President Joao Lourenco led a delegation of State Councilors, the Minister of Construction, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Higher Education, and others to inspect the Luanda Science and Technology Development Project(Phase I).
On March 10, 2023,1 Phase I of the Science and Technology Development Project (STDP) in Luanda, implemented and constructed by the Overseas Construction Branch of PBIH Group, held a grant groundbreaking ceremony in the UAN Architectural Design Building located on Ho Chi Minh Avenue in Maianga District. and attracted a gathering of dignitaries.
The "2023 ZGC Forum" held in Beijing from May 26 to 30 under the theme of "Open Cooperation for a Shared Future" and the purpose of fostering global scientific and technological innovation ccooperation. As one of the first 49 foreign-funded R&D centers recognized by Beijing, Phoenix Bridge Group Innovation Center was also invited to take the stage to receive the nameplate.
Recently, the R & D center of Phoenix Bridge Holdings (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Phoenix Bridge Group, was recognized jointly by Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park as one of the first group of Beijing foreign-funded R & D centers in 2022.
On July 21, Jinfa Construction, a subordinate unit of the group, participated in the second Ministerial Advisory Committee Meeting held by the Ministry of Public Works and Land Planning of Angola in Bengo province.
