On the morning of June 18, 2022, some representatives of the running group of Phoenix Bridge international holding group participated in the public running activity of " hand in hand to accompany the Gradually Frozen People with love " jointly held by Dongfang Siyu Gradually Frozen People Rare Disease Care Center and Decathlon (Beijing) Co., Ltd. to support the "World Gradually Frozen People's Day " on June 21 with running activities.
The launching ceremony of the public running activity officially began at 7:30 a.m. Wang Jinhuan, chairman of Dongfang Siyu, presided over and delivered a speech. Leaders of the China Social Welfare Foundation, the organizer Decathlon, the head of the running group of Phoenix Bridge International Holding Group, the head of the Beijing alumni running group of Tongji University, and representatives of the third Triathlon Club delivered speeches successively to wish the activity a smooth running. Later, the representatives of all parties involved in the activity came to the stage for the ice bucket challenge to experience the feeling of "gradually freezing", and this let more people understand the "Gradually frozen people disease " through the ice bucket challenge.
Subsequently, Wang Jinhuan, Chairman of Dongfang Siyu, issued certificates of voluntary activities to the running group of Phoenix Bridge International Holding Group, the Beijing alumni running group of Tongji University, the running group of Beijing Jinke Junchuang Investment Company, the running group of the third Triathlon Club and the Decathlon running group.
Finally, under the leadership of Decathlon professional coaches, all runners participating in the activity completed the 6.21 km public running along the established route. 6.21 km, which coincides with the date of June 21, is a challenge for people who have just run. In the process of running, the people of Phoenix Bridge took care and encouraged each other and completed running of 6.21 kilometers. Xing Jiawei, the "second generation of Phoenix Bridge", was the first to cross the finish line at a brisk pace, showing the vitality of young people.
Since the ice bucket challenge in 2014, "Gradually frozen people disease" has aroused widespread concern of the society. It is one of the five incurable diseases listed by the World Health Organization. The medical name of it is amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). It is a kind of motor neuron disease (M.N.D). Because the motor nerve cells in the patient's brain, brain stem and spinal cord are attacked, the patient's muscles gradually shrink and become weak, resulting in paralysis. The body is like being gradually frozen, so it is commonly known as "gradually frozen people". In 2000, the International Conference of patients held in Denmark officially defined June 21 as the "World Gradually Frozen People's Day ". This public running activity aims to arouse the attention and support of the society to "gradually frozen people". By participating in this activity, the running group of Phoenix Bridge and other runners will pass on the cohesion and appeal, and contribute their strength and love to the public charity of caring for "gradually frozen people". The people of Phoenix Bridge will continue to fulfill their social responsibilities and pass on their love and kindness.
Recently, the R & D center of Phoenix Bridge Holdings (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Phoenix Bridge Group, was recognized jointly by Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park as one of the first group of Beijing foreign-funded R & D centers in 2022.
