On April 24, 2026, the Chamber of Commerce Angola-China held a donation ceremony for the Benguela flood disaster relief at its headquarters. Chinese Ambassador to Angola H.E. Zhang Bin, the president of the Chamber of Commerce Angola-China Mr. Cupenala, and the director of the Angolan Civil Protection and Fire Service Mr. Mendes attended the event. Mr. Song Zhuoya, General Manager of the African Division of the Group, was invited to the donation ceremony.

Recently, Benguela Province in Angola has been stricken by rare torrential rains, which have triggered severe flooding. Infrastructure including roads, water supply and power facilities have been heavily damaged, large numbers of houses destroyed, thousands of families have been displaced, and the lives of local residents have been seriously affected.
Upon learning of the disaster, the Group's Africa Division responded promptly and took proactive action. It immediately activated the emergency assistance plan, coordinated the procurement and deployment of disaster relief supplies, and gathered four truckloads of relief supplies in a short time. Through the Chamber of Commerce Angola-China, the supplies were donated to the flood-stricken areas of Benguela, delivering care and support to the affected residents and helping tide over difficulties.

Over the years, the Group has been adhering to the overseas localization development strategy. While deeply cultivating overseas markets and promoting project construction, it earnestly fulfills its local corporate social responsibility and actively participates in the local social welfare initiatives. Through this donation event, the Group once again demonstrates its sense of responsibility and vividly embodies the profound friendship of "China and Angola as one big family".
Going forward, the Group will continue to take root in Angola and serve local communities. It will fulfill its mission with solid efforts, repay society with kindness, and boost local development through high-quality projects and public welfare initiatives. The Group will strive to make greater contributions to China-Angola friendly cooperation and common progress.
