Fundedby the African Development Bank, the project is an important component of theScience and Technology Development Project (STDP) of the Angolan MinistryofHigher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation. The project is locatedin Luanda, the capital of Angola,covering an area of 62,800 ㎡ and started in March 2023. The project isconstructed by phases, includes new buildings construction,  original buildings restoration construction,demolition works, outdoor road restoration works, landscape greening works,repair and replacement of installation engineering facilities and equipment,etc.

Duringthe project construction process, it received high attention from the Angolangovernment, and President Lorenzo personally led a team to visit and inspectthe project construction. After the completion of this project, it will greatlyenhance Angola's scientific research patent management capabilities and provideopen space for more domestic scientific journals, providing strong support forAngola's scientific research and technological innovation.
